ObjectiveEd joins CBC broadcast in Canada

We participated in an Ontario Canada Virtual Town Hall to discuss the urgent needs of a third of a million students with disabilities during the COVID-19 crisis, which was subsequently rebroadcast on CBC radio.

Like the problems in the US, the hardships of COVID-19 fall disproportionately on students with disabilities.

We discussed:

Co-anchors for this event were AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act)  Alliance Chair David Lepofsky, a visiting professor at the Osgoode Hall Law School, and Laura Kirby-McIntosh, president of the Ontario Autism Coalition.  I learned that David was instrumental in requiring the Toronto transit system to announce their metro stops.

If your town or state is running a virtual town hall, ObjectiveEd would be glad to participate.
